PREVIEW OF THE NEW SEASON 2007/8

 

PREVIEW by Frank Harwood.

I intend, subject to getting sufficient material, to give a preview of  ‘What’s going on in the CMFL’ prior to the new season starting, to do this I need the following from you……....the clubs.

 

1) Any changes  at your club, Manager, Secretary, Ground etc

2) Any interesting developments, new sponsors, awards etc

3) New signings (must be after July 1st)

4) Prospects

5) Ambitions

6) Any other interesting items i.e. events etc

7) Should I have a lot of material from your club, I will do a feature on your club alone, if you are interested.

Registration of Players

All Club Secretaries are advised that players cannot be registered until 1st July 2007 therefore Registration Forms should NOT be submitted to the League Registrar prior to that date otherwise they will be returned to the offending clubs and new forms will have to be submitted.  J Worrall Gen.Sec.


Fixtures Secretary
The Central Midlands Football League (CMFL) Management Committee invite applications for the post of Fixtures Secretary.
Previous applicants need not apply. Applicants cannot serve on any committee or hold any post with any club currently playing in any division of the CMFL.
As the fixtures for the league are compiled using a computer programme it is essential that applicants are computer literate.
The closing date for applications is 1 July 2007 and applications together with a CV should be sent to the League General Secretary, Jeff Worrall, 36 Spilsby Close, Cantley, Doncaster. DN4 6TJ. Tel: 01302 370188. Email – gensec@cmfl.wanadoo.co.uk.

CMFL Appointments and New Clubs.

 

 

At a  meeting of the Management Committee held on Monday 11th June 2007, Eddie Pearce was elected as the League Chairman, Robin Willis was voted in as Vice Chairman.

The League are on the look out for a Fixtures Secretary, further details will be announced shortly. Until the appointment, Tony Baugh will continue in this position.

Two new clubs, Sutton Town AFC and Louth Town FC have been accepted into the Premier Division of the league, subject to meeting the requirements of their respective County F A's and also meeting CMFL criteria.
